Bible in a Year | Reading Plan Overview

One way to grow on your spiritual journey is to read the Bible daily.

This Monday-Friday reading plan is broken down to a monthly reading format, and you have three options to choose from:

1) Read the entire Bible.
2) Read the New Testament only.
3) Read the Old Testament only.

How to Participate

-Pray-Ask God to open your heart and eyes to what he has for you today.

-Read-Read the chapter(s) listed after each day of the week.

-Ask Questions-Get curious about what you are reading and the lessons it is teaching.

-Take a Step-When we read, we always want to apply truth to our lives. Take a step today on the adventure God has for you.

-Watch-You can watch an overview video of the Old Testament and the New Testament from the BibleProject.

This plan is designed to begin January 5, 2026, with Monday–Friday readings that wrap up on January 1, 2027. That said, you can start anytime during the year. Consistency matters more than intensity, and missed days are met with grace—not guilt. Skipped a week? Missed a month? That’s okay. Simply pick up where you left off or jump back in fresh next month.
