Scripture helps us see God’s perspective.
Today, read the verses below and choose one that jumps out at you. Then turn it into a daily declaration.
Copy the verse onto three sticky notes or index cards and place each in a separate spot you pass regularly. Or use an app or website like Canva to create a wallpaper for your phone, so you see the verse often.
Today will be focused on using the verses for the daily declarations.
Romans 8:31
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
John 16:33
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Galatians 4:5
God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.
Romans 8:1
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for speaking to me through Scripture. It is the foundation of my strength. Help me not only listen to what you say through your Word, but also do what it says (James 1:22). Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Ephesians 3:16-17
16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.
