Weekend Series: Transforming a Nation

DreamTeam Writer: Kelly Pagel

Sunday, July 21, 2024

We are in the third week of our series, Transforming a Nation. We have been reading the book of Titus which shares a wealth of information on how to live out the Gospel. In his letter, Paul offers instruction to five groups of people on how to live in a way that transforms our communities. His reason for this is not simply to be good people but as a response to the grace we have received through Christ.

Titus 2:11-12
11For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. 12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures.

It is grace that trains us to transform our world.

This week, invite God to open your eyes to the places where you can transform the world around you when you operate from God’s grace. Ask him to show you how you can live wisely and in a way that reflects wholesome teaching. Consider recording your responses in a journal, whether digital or hard copy. It's a great way to be able to look back on the adventure God has you on.

Prayer:
Lord, thank you for your grace. It is a gift from you – nothing I deserved, but what you gave out of your great love for me. Today help me live from that grace and demonstrate your love to others, so they too may come to know you, ultimately transforming our world. In Jesus’ name, amen.
