Theme Verse: Matthew 5:21

Title: Doubling your Fulfilling Future

Every person wants a fulfilling future.

Question: Do we know how to secure what will matter most in the end?

Jesus tells us how to secure a fulfilling future in Matthew 25

Parable: A fictional story with a spiritual purpose

- The Parable of the Bridesmaids/Virgins

- The Parable of the Talents

- The Parable of the Final Judgment.

Key Verse: Matthew 25:14-30

Master - Jesus

Servants - His Followers

Money - Our life while he’s away

One bag estimated about 20 years work.

Misconception: The more you do for God, the more pleased he is.

Reality: The servants who turned in the 10 and the 4 bags received same praise.

Hebrews 11:6 - And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

It is your faith that pleases God.

And when you trust him...you look at your whole life differently.

You see all you have as investment from Him.

Bottom Line: FAITH-FILLED people LEVERAGE their RESOURCES.

- Fear filled people lock up their resources.

- Lazy people lose their resources.

Question: How am I making the most of my _______?

Finances: Am I leveraging my finances or are they leveraging me?

Every dollar you spent is a hiring decision.

You are "hiring" that purchase to provide something for you.

Perhaps it is time to hold accountable what you are hiring for in your life.

Budget: A plan for where I want my money to go.

Give 10% - Save 10%-20% - Live 70-80%

Time/Energy: Are you making the most of your time/Energy

Who are you investing the time you have on earth with?

Who is your one?

Who are you sharing God’s grace, God’s story with?

Who are you inviting to Halloweekend, At the Movies?

How are you making the most of you energy?

Your Story: Are you making the most of your Gifts/Talents?

Romans 12:6

You are part of God’s plan to make a difference.

He has given you unique abilities and experiences to help others

Do you know what yoru purpose is?

Ephesians 5:15 So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.
