Prayer: 
Heavenly Father, help me be firmly rooted in you so that my heart can produce the good fruit that comes from you. I know that only by the power of your Holy Spirit can I have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in my life (Galatians 5:22-23). I desire to have a close relationship with you that produces good fruit in me and through me for the good of others, so guide me to cultivate my relationship with you every day. May it all be for your honor and your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.

“A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs are never gathered from thornbushes, and grapes are not picked from bramble bushes. A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.”  - Luke 6:43-45

Choose one part of the Fruit of the Spirit (from Galatians 5:22-23) that you need God to grow in you. Pray for God to produce that fruit in your life this week.
