Sometimes, what begins as a small commitment can become the foundation for something deeply meaningful. Whether it’s a hobby, a project, or a relationship, investing our time, energy, and resources gradually transforms it into something that truly matters. Over time, those initial investments shape not only what we do but who we become.
We often assume we invest in what we already care about, but the truth is, our hearts are shaped by where we place our investments. The foundations we lay today with our resources set the stage for what will matter most to us tomorrow.
1 Timothy 6:18-19
Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others. By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.
In this letter to Timothy, Paul encourages us to be generous and ready to share, reminding us that doing good stores up treasure for the future and helps us experience true life.
What a different way to think about our resources! Instead of asking how much we can get for ourselves, we can ask how God might use what we've been given to make an eternal difference.
Generosity is about more than moving money from our hands into someone else's. It changes our perspective. The more we invest in people and purposes that matter to God, the more we find joy in things that last rather than things that only satisfy us for a moment.
In the end, what we choose to build today shapes the legacy and joy we carry into tomorrow.

1 Timothy 6:6-7
Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it.
