Hello, everyone. My name is Blake, and I am the oldest of Josh and Libbe’s kids. I am thirteen and have three siblings: Taylor, Tate, and Bowen. We are all currently in the car on the way to Pikeville, Kentucky! Two other families are joining us on this trip also! Our group has had four or five meetings leading up to the trip to prepare and plan. We have also served in our community four times; those ranged from garbage cleanup to serving in a food kitchen! Sitting in the car, I am excited and a little nervous. I have been camping before and to many other things like this, but never on a mission trip. However, I’m sure we will have a good time. One thing that I am excited to do on the mission trip is hang out with our group! We brought football, kickballs, cards, and a ton of other stuff! I also really hope that we can help a bunch of people in need of assistance, whether with painting, landscaping, or even plumbing! All in all, whatever happens, I’m sure we’ll have a good time.
