Relationships! God gave us the ideal model of a loving relationship when he sent Christ into the world.
Today, reflect on what Scripture reminds us of the perfect love God offers us and the gift he gives us through friendship. Review the verses highlighted this week such as 1 John 4:7-21, Matthew 12:21, or any of the others that stood out to you over the past few days. Spend time carefully exploring each word, listening to what God wants to teach you.
Review the notes you captured during your readings, and jot down any additional thoughts you may have.
Prayer:
Lord, I praise you for the gift of your son and the incredible love he showed me by coming to earth in human form for the purpose of bearing my sin. You are also so loving and gracious to provide friendships to help me navigate this world. I am grateful for these relationships. Help me love and care for them well in return. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Romans 1:20
“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.”
