Take a moment today to pause and reflect: How have you responded to God's promptings?
Maybe it was a quiet nudge, a thought that wasn't your own, or words that came out of your mouth and surprised even you. That's often how the Holy Spirit speaks. God's voice is not always heard in loud declarations - it can also come in gentle whispers that align with his heart and truth.
Responding to God is not about following every passing thought. It's about learning to recognize the voice that brings peace, clarity, and a call toward love, joy, patience, and all the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The more you say “yes” to those quiet promptings, the more confident you'll become in knowing it's him.
The Holy Spirit lives in you. He's not distant or passive. He's present and active, waiting to guide every area of your life.
So, as you reflect over the messages you've heard this week, ask yourself:
Where is the Holy Spirit prompting me to move?
How will I respond?
Prayer:
Father God, teach me to recognize your voice and follow your truth. Holy Spirit, the answer is yes - what's your invitation? Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Psalm 85:8
I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways.
