Weekend Series: At the Movies 2024

DreamTeam Writer: Kelly Pagel

Saturday, November 9, 2024

Encouragement to others is a gift, helping them to persevere. Our uplifting words, said in the right way and at the right time, allow us to demonstrate the love of God to others.

Today, reflect on what Scripture teaches us regarding encouragement. Review the verses we’ve covered this week, such as Romans 15:5, Zephaniah 3:17, Proverbs 18:21, or Proverbs 18:24. Spend time carefully exploring each word, listening to what God wants to teach you.

Review the notes you captured over the past few days, and jot down any additional thoughts you may have.

Prayer:
God, I appreciate the reminders in your Word on the importance and value of encouragement. Today, give me the words to encourage others, so their eyes may be turned to you. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Series Theme Verse:
Romans 1:20
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
