Secrets! They can sabotage our relationships and prevent us from living in the freedom God offers us. Instead, he invites us to live differently, and ultimately, this allows us to step into our purpose and the life that God intends for us.
Today, reflect on what Scripture teaches us regarding secrets. Review the verses highlighted this week, such as Ephesians 2:10, 1 John 1:9, or 1 John 4:14. Spend time carefully exploring each word, listening to what God wants to teach you.
Review the notes you captured over the past few days, and jot down any additional thoughts you may have.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for the freedom you offer. I don’t have to live captive to my secrets anymore. Today, let me confess anything I am hiding, bringing it out of the darkness and into the light. Let me be honest with you, myself, and others, so I can step into the full life you came to give me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Romans 1:20
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
