These lyrics echo the heart of Easter. We heard them during Easter services last weekend.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He had every reason to lash out, to call down judgment on those who mocked, beat, and crucified him. But instead, he gave his body, his blood, his life for us. Painfully. Brutally. Completely.

And then, in the greatest act of love the world has ever known, he rose again. Victorious! Not to condemn us but to call us into the life we are all meant to live. Because of his sacrifice, we can live restored, redeemed, and renewed.

Jesus is our precious redeemer.

Take time today to reflect on what you've experienced this Easter season. What does it mean that Jesus gave everything for you?

Prayer:
Jesus, I am blown away by your love for me. You held nothing back - not even your own life. Thank you for your sacrifice, grace, and resurrection power that brings me hope. I'll never fully understand the depth of your love, but I receive it with a grateful heart. Please help me live in the truth of your redemption, and may my life be a response to the wonder of the cross. I love you, I trust you, and I worship you. Amen.
