Where are you on your journey?

Maybe you're just starting to sense God calling you somewhere new. Perhaps you've been walking the path for a while but have hit a detour, or you're unsure if you're even heading in the right direction.

Last weekend's message reminded us that the rules for the road matter. When we define our "there" - the place where God is leading us - we begin to see the purpose in every step.

But let's be honest: the road isn't always smooth. Like the Israelites in Numbers 13–14, we face challenges, fear, and voices that try to keep us stuck. And yet, even in the wilderness, God invites us to trust him and let him guide us.

Your spiritual journey is not just about getting "there." It's about who you're becoming as you walk with Jesus.

Rules for the Road:

  1. Know where you're going.
  2. Be prepared for roadblocks.
  3. Choose the right passengers.
  4. Pay attention to the signs.

When we apply these rules to our lives, we can continue our journey with faith, purpose, and wisdom.

Spend time today reflecting on and praying for guidance on moving toward God's best for your life. Take the four practical "Rules for the Road" and apply them to whichever domain in Your Journey you feel led.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me rules to follow on this journey through life. Sometimes the road feels long, confusing, or full of detours, but I trust that you guide me, even when I can't see the whole path. Help me define the "there" you're leading me toward. Please give me courage when I face roadblocks, and wisdom to follow the signs you place in my life. Surround me with people who encourage, challenge, and walk with me toward the purpose you've put in my heart. I love you, trust you, and worship you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
