Following Jesus transforms the way we live, not just what we believe.
Proverbs 3:27
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when it’s in your power to help them.
That’s both simple and challenging.
Every day, we’re given opportunities - small moments to step in, to notice, to respond. To be the hands and feet of Jesus right where we are. Not in big, dramatic ways, but in quiet, intentional ones.
When you share a kind word, a helping hand, or a moment of compassion, you’re sharing Jesus with others.
The question isn’t whether those opportunities exist, but whether we’ll act on them.
As you reflect on this week, take a moment to think about the ways you’ve served and shown up for the people in your life.
And as you go forward, make it your goal to look for ways to do good. Stay open, pay attention, and when you see the chance, act and let your kindness put faith into motion.
The love of Jesus moves us - let’s move with it.
Prayer:
Jesus, help me notice opportunities to do good today. Give me the courage to act with kindness and love, so others may see you in me. I love you, I trust you, and I worship you. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Ephesians 1:5
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
