As we come to the end of this series, Chosen, we return to the questions many of us carry:
Do I matter?
What should I do next?
The memory verse reminds us of something foundational:
Ephesians 1:5
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.
You matter because you were chosen. Not by accident, not by chance, but by God, out of his love. And that truth doesn’t just answer who you are - it begins to shape where you’re going.
Throughout this series, we’ve learned that being chosen isn’t just about belonging. It’s about transformation. You were chosen by love, freed for life, sent with purpose, blessed for others, and secured for eternity.
Your life is not random, small, or finished.
As you continue to say yes to him, God is still leading you. So as you step into what’s next, don’t go back to uncertainty. Move forward with confidence. Not in what you can do, but in what God has already done and is continuing to do in you.
Reflect today by asking him: Where do you want me to go next?
And be ready to follow. Because you’re not just chosen, you’re called to more.
Prayer:
God, thank you for choosing me, for loving me, and for leading me every step of the way. Help me to trust your purpose for my life and to say “yes” to you each day. Show me where you want me to go, and give me the courage and faith to follow. Remind me that my story isn’t finished and that you are always working for my good. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Ephesians 1:5
