Do you count yourself out, thinking God couldn’t use you to further his kingdom? Be encouraged! If you have given your life to Christ, you have the Spirit of God living in you (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 6:19).
Today, let this wondrous news bring you great joy (Luke 2:10-11). Rejoice in the knowledge that because of Christ's birth, death, and resurrection, the Holy Spirit lives in you.
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!
Today, reflect on the verses above or review any of the other verses that stood out to you over the past few days. Spend time carefully exploring each word and listening to what God wants to teach you.
Review the notes you captured during your readings, and jot down any additional thoughts you may have.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit. It is your guarantee on the promise you made (Ephesians 1:14). Help me trust in you and walk with the Spirit as I go throughout my day. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Acts 20:35
And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
