The invitation is here, and it is now. As we celebrate 30 years of God’s faithfulness in and through our church, we’re reminded that his story with us isn’t finished - it’s still unfolding.
The best way to move forward is with open hands and open hearts. When we pray - “God, my answer is yes. What is your invitation?”- we posture ourselves to keep our lives aligned with his mission.
Your “yes” might look like serving, sharing your story, stepping into a Group, or simply choosing to love someone who’s hard to love. Whatever it is, we can be confident that God is inviting us into something greater than ourselves.
So, as we look back with gratitude and forward with expectation, let’s keep asking that simple, powerful question: What is your invitation, Lord? And let’s be ready to say enthusiastically, with all of our heart, all of our soul, and all of our mind, YES! (Matthew 22:37).
Prayer:
God, my answer is yes. What is your invitation?
(Pause here. Take a deep breath. Quiet your mind and heart to listen. Allow God’s presence to speak to you.)
I love you, I trust you, and I worship you. Amen.
Series Theme Verse:
Acts 17:6 (NKJV)
But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.”
